After listening to the constant complaining about there being no dual climate control features on the Gen5, and having the bride constanting making comments about the air blowing on her legs and in her face while she's turning the tempature control up/warmer.......... while I'm sweating. I informed her she could simply close the passengers, side and center vent. :-)

On the iphone, if you pair both to phone and pdim, you cannot have both at the same time. Most phones will only connect to one bluetooth device at a time. I used to have a Parrot MK in another car, which used the same connection for both handsfree and music streaming.

Also, my iphone 3GS (os 3.x) does not work 100%. It connects and plays music, but cannot be controlled from the radio or steering wheel. I have to use the iphone screen. My stoneage 4th gen ipod works perfectly though.
Mine allows both, I can stream music on bluetooth and receive calls. Under the bluetooth menu it shows both connected at the same time.

I have the 3gs as well but os 4.x

However I can not use the car controls with the bluetooth connection. Only when I attach using the USB.

This did not work on my 2010 SS either until I had it in for a software update. I have no idea which update they applied though.

And after 10 minutes you can press the radio power button and it will play for another 10 minutes. And maybe another 10 minutes beyond that if you press it again ............. I don't know as I've only tried it once.

I found this the other day for an ipod...if you scroll for music by artist or song title, if you scroll quickly the menu will change from a list of artists/songs to letters of the alphabet so you can scroll from say "A" to the end of the alphabet much quicker.

Also, if you hold either the previous or next while a song is playing it will rewind or fast forward the song....

To find out what version of software your radio/PDIM is running:

While in USB mode, press and hold the Menu button till the radio LCD displays the hardware and software versions.

FF-you can attach a portable GPS with the suction cup the GPS comes with to the corner of the radio face. it will not move, does not block the radio display, and does not take up any of the precious window space.

If talking on your phone through the blue tooth of the radio and turn the car off, the radio will not turn off until the call is completed, even when opening the drivers door.

I've had the car for a little over two months. I usually wipe the engine down every time I wash it. I just noticed the heat pad on the underside of the hood has the Chevy bowtie on it, lol....

Here's a cool one: By pressing the config button and going to radio settings, you can set your radio to automatically increase in volume upon fast exceleration. It's called "speed compensated volume." It's noticeable and very cool.

Did you upgrade to OS4? I have not done so because I jailbreaked it. Now that I think about it, I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

I am not worried because I have my old ipod plugged in and use that instead.
