These are actually the posts that I'm most jealous of on Camaro5. Now that I have my SS, I finally have the car that I really want, but starting over on the payments is a bummer. Don't get me wrong, it's totally worth it to me, but I can't wait to get it paid off. Got a long way to go...

Congrats on your payoff!

Congrats! If only our friends here who are bugetarily over extended could feel the feeling you are having right now, they would not post threads about being "upside down" on their loans and asking if they should "trade up" for an even higher payment.Fiscal independence is a glorious feeling!

Congratulations!! If I have enough discipline to not modify my car as much as I do, mine would have been paid off a few years ago lmao.

My '14 camaro 2SS convertible was the first vehichle in my life I was able to pay cash for. When the dealer asked how I was going to finane and I said cash, it was an unbelievible feeling. I am 54 yrs old. After many yrs of working hard, especially my wife with 4 kids and still worked full time finally getting caught up in life

Well the full story is a flu shot at work caused me to get Guillain Barre Syndrome. It ate away at my pheriperal nerves causing paralysis. After 2 yrs still with many residuals and can walk with a cane. I filed a claim with the gov and i won. Otherwise at age 54 I would have been more concerned with saving more for retirement. God works in mysterious ways and I was able to purchase a muscle car of my dreams.
