New Tire Question

My stock rear pirelli's are shot but the fronts are fine. Was looking into getting all season tires. Would it make sense to bring the fronts to the back (pirelli's) and get new ones for the front (all seasons). I got new rims and put them on the stock tires they are all 20x9 so I will be running a square setup. Let me know what you think. Thanks

Tire rubber compound is also a factor.
The PZero's are designed for summer temps and will not adhere to road surface in cold weather.
Get 4 all seasons IMO

Take a look at the General GMax Ultra High Performance all season. A lot of members have used them.
I just replaced my PZero's with these. So far I'm happy.

Sir Nuke,
Just to confirm, this means all 4 would be '275/40 20', which is what the original rear 20x9 had, right ?

I ask because I just ordered 4 20x9 rims and asked for those size tires (275/40ZR20), and the vendor didn't say whether that was doable or not. Just want to make sure it will be fine.

thanks,
BL.

Sir Nuke,

I have a few questions for you regarding the Gmax AS-03 setup that you have. How do you like the following:

Dry Traction?
Corning Stability?
Steering Response?

I'm also in need of tires, like in the next two weeks, and have been looking at the Gmax AS-03 or the BF Goodrich g-Force Sport-2 and trying to decide.

Thanks,
GearHeadPeter

Bruce, the wheels I am using are the OEM wheels which have a +40 offset, what is the offset of the wheels you ordered?

Peter, considering how I drive (a little spirited) and you too have a LT/RS, like mine, I feel they handle just as well as the original tires.....plus I get the wet traction I was missing.

The P-zero's are silent when they spin. Which replacement tire squeals when spinning? I miss the old days when the rear tires begged for mercy when I lit them up.
