Ted,

Is there any loss in HP between the CAI Inc in Aluminum or Black Powdercoated? Would there be some heat soak since its black?

We haven't tested it so we really can't comment :(

I'm sure we will have one in here at some point for testing.

IMO - I don't think it's enough to see a noticeable difference.

Yeah I'm pretty sure you guys are speculating over 1-2hp. That is not noticeable in this vehicle, period.

Again good job on the results, and I'm now going with cai or halltech, in the near future.

The only piece of hardware that may be needed to change from NA motor to blown might be a piece of hose or shorter 4 inch powder coated tube. The MAF, filter, and airbox would not be altered at all.

We will know soon on the Whipple as mine is in route and i have the ADM race. Wit the way Andy designed it as a multiple piece inlt I see no reason what it should not work w/ little to no modifications. I will be sure to post up once I have installed it.

I just installed my Halltech Yellow Jacket yesterday. It was so easy and I'm a noob to modding. It may have taken me about 15 min to do it. I can feel more punch and the exhaust note even sounds better which was an unexpected surprise.

Note that I did a fuse pull as well at the same time. Dont know if it was needed but I did it anyway.

I agree, you may only have to shorten the powder coated metal pipe or a rubber hose on the ADM intake. Similar install as done on a few Edelebrock E-Force blowers. Looking forward to your pic when you get the install completed.

How long is the back order on the Cold Air Induction with ADM scoop?

I have plenty of time before my baby gets built.

Yes My Idea was Way too Expensive seems like the Ford bag is still the best option.

MAF errors

Has anyone heard of OEM Mass Air Sensors not reading correctly? I have heard that many units are "Less than adequate" but still read within GM's tolerances. So, no recall.

NEVER Seen any Problems with GM MAFS unless it is a total fail and I have not seen that since the 80s models.
