OMG what a difference changing an emblem makes!!!

I just installed my SLP landing pad and "SS" emblem in place of the bowtie.

Wow! It looks so much better! Why didn't they do this from the factory!

I'm waiting on the SLP rear blackout plate before I do the rear though.

Looks good! I want to do this with the new Heritage grill when I get one! I agree, it looks better than the bow tie for sure!

Looks good! I am getting the filler piece also but I think I'll just leave it blank. Not a big fan of the gold bowtie. But I'm taking the "Camaro" emblems off both sides too. Not sure what I can do with the back bowtie. I don't want two stud holes showing.

Agreed!

I think I'm also going to replace the fender Camaro emblems with the old school Camaro emblems as well.

Does the heritage grill have a bowtie on it?

That is a very nice MOD. Something I would consider doing if I had an SS.

They should make an SS that fits on the Heritage Grille as well.

Looks good!! I am going to do this also, except I am going with the 5th gen SS font. How hard is it to get the bowtime and landing pad off?

Took a little finagling with my fingers behind it, but I pulled and it popped right out. The directions talk about prying the horizontal tabs out, and then twisting in a counter clockwise motion. I didn't have to do that though. Takes a little more oomph than you think it's going to. The factory SS is even easier to pop out. Just 2 tabs!

Yea I know! What's up with that?? I don't understand why you would put that big SS right in the center...........and then leave the factory red SS. That would just look weird IMHO.
