Interesting, my '69 Z/28 handled exceptionally well with the quick ratio steering and no power assist, perhaps we just have different driving styles.
I think whatever Chevy releases with the Z/28 nameplate should have exceptional handling regardless of which engine they decide to use.

Z28 needs to handle. I don't think that's very arguable

It depends on whether or not it will "handle" 638 hp.

This is so much fun.... I am so glad the pony wars are back!
I think a track pack is almost a given, considering how every Mustang tested is equipped with it and all the praise it has received. Some Mustang guys don't believe GM has anything left for the SS model but I think they will do what it takes to stay on top. We all know there is a lot of potential left in the SS. Throw in some 3.90 gears and some minor power tweaks to the engine and the Coyote will be left in the dust!

You're right, the pony car wars are awesome and I am glad Ford seems to be stepping up to the plate again after all these years.

I went for a ride in a Camaro today with a guy from the Oshawa plant. He said the Z28 will have the LS9, but there is no confirmed date for it yet.

He also said that cars ordered now will have rear park assist.

I must agree...plus who wants Turbo lag??? I say supercharged LS3 like the V and a much improved suspension so the Z28 can be not only a stang and hemi killer....but wouldn't it be fun for a camaro to take out any car from the asian market as well as maybe a porsche killer? Yea yea I know don't wanna step on the toes of the mighty Corvette but screw it....I feel when it comes to the Z28 well, GO BIG OR GO HOME!
