Something about the title to your thread, I fear, is keeping people from the Southeast noticing what they are going to miss. I may suggest, instead of listing cities in Florida, maybe edit the list to the states you think would be interested only. There are only 2, besides myself, that have chimed in from outside of Florida. Just trying to help you guys get a bigger croud.

Of course, it maybe that Florida is the state in the Southeast that has it going on though.

I can't commit to anything myself right now, but I'll keep an eye on your thread.

Ok gang....stay tuned....we may have jumped the gun a little bit with the hotel announcement. We have some issues with the track in Gainesville, so it may move to Valdosta after all. Will keep everyone informed as soon as we know more.

OK Gang!! We will have to set the event up in Valdosta and visit South Georgia Motorsports Park. In order to go to Gainesville Raceway, all cars faster than 13.99 require the driver to wear a SNELL 2000 or higher helmet. That is pretty much every Camaro SS!!! And I know that most folks either don't have one, or it is out of date. Also, any car faster than 12.49 requires a roll cage, so that would eliminate most of the supercharged guys and girls.

I have set up a block of rooms at the same Holiday Inn that we visited for CamaroFest, and they are EXCITED to have us coming back!!! They will have the same group rate too...$82.99.. so the rooms are almost $20 a night cheaper, so that should help make up a little for the extra gas the Tampa & Orlando folks will have to spend!! For those on an even tighter budget, the manager told me that you can stay at the sister hotel (Days Inn) next door for a rate of $59.99 a night.

See the first post in this thread for Hotel details and phone numbers. Looking forward to getting together with everyone again! Let's get this party started.....
