ADM Race Intake test finished

We finally got around to doing our own test of the NEW RACE VERSION of our Highflow Intake System.

The Car is a 2010 Camaro 6 spd manual with 215 miles on it.It cam from another state to get our 427/TVS2300 package.

We pre dynoed it yesterday and put down some very stout stock numbers -370 rwhp and 382.9 torque. One of the highest we have ever dynoed.

I then called the customer to tell him what we were doing and he was more than happy to put his car to the test.We installed the Intake and Scoop and went right to the dyno this morning.

Here are the results-

To date this is the highest horsepower car we have ever dynoed with our Intake system and no tune.

Video coming tonight of both runs.

What do you mean by only? You don't really believe some of the other claims that a CAI will get you 40hp do you? 10hp and 8ft/lbs is a solid gain. With a tune it would pick up another 10/10. I was sort-of expecting some "assisted" dyno numbers and I am impressed with the honesty. Obviously the ADM guys are a stand up bunch.

Why only 10hp on the Race Version? I was under the impression that the street version would get you 15 to 18hp? What's up Andy???

The fact that they did dyno it on 2 different days will play a little role in the outcome. They did the initial dyno the day before, then tested the CAI the next morning after the install. You guys are a fickle bunch. You could literally sit that particular car in that shop for 2 days, and then dyno it (without changing a thing) on Saturday and it could hit 395hp. make 5 pulls in a row, and no 2 will be the same.

I'll say it again, 10hp and 8ft/lbs is a solid gain.

Keep in mind. No two cars will respond to mods in the exact same way. It is also a testimate to this car on its initial dyno. That is pretty high stock for the ADM Dyno.

Very stout numbers for a car w/ nothing but an intake! It looks like the A/F ratio on this car is not far off to start with. I imagine the fatter the particular car is running stock the higher the pickup when you add all the extra air from the ADM intake.

I`ll be doing my ADM Race sunday, parts are being painted now, then I will head to the dyno hopefully some time next week for some numbers. My car dynoed 327 w/ fuse pull and 319 before fuse pull bone stock 600 miles L99.
