PARKING ?
Does your wife or girl friend give you a hard time because you park out in the remote parking and take up two slots? Just woundering my wife is ok with it most of the time she understands why i do it.

My wife encourages me to park out in the boonies.
I too try to take up 2 spots. The doors are large and don't want any dings if I can help it. Plus people in parking lots will squeeze into the tightest places and don't give a s@*# if they ding/hit any other car. I have a friend with a new caddy cts and he does the same thing. |

I'm getting too old to worry about it, and I don't play the parking game. I do how ever try to park by nicer cars, and avoid the fat family in the mini van when ever possible.

I think my fioncee likes that we have a nice enough car to care alittle more than the average car owner.

My wife gives me a little grief about it once in awhile but as was mentioned I usually just drop her off at the door. I even park my pickup out of the way since it's a 2011 Tacoma and so far it's still pristine.
BTW this constant harping on people for taking two parking spaces in the middle of nowhere is just a bunch of BS. It just serves to spread the urban myth that something bad is going to happen to your car if you do it. Taking two spaces close in is asking for it though.
