Dealer just called, the glass company they outsourced to put the windshield back in scratched it. Gonna be a couple more days while they order a new one so its back to driving the golf cart uh I mean cobalt for a while.

I swear I cancelled the car show BEFORE they called to tell me I wouldn't have my car back in time lol

Wow for a scratch...Christ a mighty, DEPAULA painted mine and wouldnt replace it...on a car with 3000 miles that I bought from them for 30,000+..

I bought her at Romeo Chevrolet in Kingston, NY but that's about an hour north of where I live so I go to Healey Chevrolet on Rt. 9 in Poughkeepsie. I've been very happy with their service so far, guess we'll have to see though when I get her back early next week.

I gotta say im not a fan of Depaula. I talked with them about a truck 5 years ago or so and they just seemed shady.

Motorhead79 (Chris) was telling me about something Depaula pulled with the sales tax rate, I dont recall the whole scenario (Feel free to chime in Chris), his more expensive SS was less sales tax at ELM than his cheaper V6 car at Depaula and both were supposed to be eight percent???
I think it went something like that?
Glad I found Camaro5.com and people the likes of Becky at Rodgers and Camaro Scotty....people with integrity.

On the topic of integrity....I picked up some automotive signs for a friend in Canada today..I went to Ballston Spa, the fellow had some neat stuff and this is what he gave me for helping out a friend.
An original GM dealer marquis sign in RED (Oldsmobile/Pontiac only)
and an original condition 1964 New York Worlds Fair license plate WITH the 1965 NY registration sticker still on it.

I though I was going to fall over and faint!!

you have to pay them to paint and install it. Not really free then is it?
They include the part with the deal but bang you over the head to finish it off.
