That is a car that needs to be sent back to GM so they can trouble shoot how the door got on like that and how it passed the quality control process

Anyone know what is up with the mismatched front color?
Wow thats depressing. I hope it works out for you. I would be totally pissed and I would not take the car.

So please tell me you guys are just trying to personally push my buttons. You can't tell that door is open? It's obviously open. Why don't you guys ask if it is really a Camaro?

Sorry man- unless gm can deliver one this week ( it is not going back. With all the trouble others are having and mine getting here so fast (IS that the problem?) my dealer can bill GM for the repair.
Gues us IOM's will have to live with the color difference. are the reds that way?

No worries, but it is like that as it sits in the show room this instant. Now wheather it was like that on the truck, as you appear correct on the truck picture, I can't say. But how could it have moved like that, and then been solid when I was opening and closing the doors, I'd like to know. So I would call it a factory issue.
More pics Thursday-gone tomorrow.

Our 09 Malibu is Black Granite Metallic and no matter what you do or what angle you look at the front bumper from it looks like a different color. It seems more grey than the rest of the car. However, the bumper is EXACTLY the same color per a color gun at a paint shop.

it could be the material of the bumper .

it could be when they where taking the car off he rubbed somwhere on the bottom and forced the door from the bottom up ...u should look underneath and see if u see any dents in the metal.Good luck

I know 4th gen fenders were bad if someone jacked up on the "do not jack here" tab and made it look exactly like that. It looks like someone squeezed the fender and it popped out like that.

It could be the material of the bumper showing through the lighter paints but only IOM has had this problem.

I would agree. The fender becomes a hinge at the crease line (where the Camaro sticker is) when pushed upwards from underneath. Then the fender bends outwards. I have repaired my GTO fenders with similar damage.
