New from North Dakota
Hey guys, I'm new here. I recently purchased a 2011 Camaro 2LT in Victory Red. I always wanted a new Camaro when I caught wind of a Camaro prototype few years back. Well it finally happened last week! I traded in my 2007 Impala SS for this used Camaro. Has about 12,600 miles on it right now. I really wanted a Camaro with all the interior options, and this one fit the ticket. Enough babbling, here's some pictures of my baby!
Saying Goodbye to my Impala. I owned it since August 2010. It was a great car, just was out of warranty and used oil. (AFM issue, ick) So it was time to part ways. At my girlfriend's house. She lives an hour away from the dealership. So I spent last weekend with her. She didn't like it at first, just because she thought I didn't need another new car since my Impala was still a good car. But it grew on her. At home in my driveway, just taken today after giving her a good hand wash. That's all the pictures I have now! I want to take so many more, I just need to find a good place around here to do that. Also I want to get pictures just before sunset. Oh! and I mine as well stick my story in here and why I hate driving in bigger cities (small city to most of you guys I'm sure, but big to me) I was cruising from one of the bars in Fargo to another bar. It was my girlfriend's birthday so we're having a night out on the town. Well cruising along going around 30mph. I was the only car on the road at a little after 11:00pm. I see this guy on a bicycle, he's riding on the sidewalk, didn't think anything of it until, wait a second, he's cutting across the road and as I'm passing him, BOOM! He runs right into my Camaro after owning it for a whole day. WTF?! Really?! REALLY?!!?1 So I look in my rear view mirror, he's stopped on the road, didn't knock him down so he stopped in time (or I should say my new shiny car stopped him! GREAT.), I pull up a nearby driveway, hazards on, I get out my phone and turn on the flashlight app to exam the side. Found where he hit, rubber marks all around the rear tire. Luckily that was all. Just his tire dragged across the body and part of the rim. No real damage. I watched him hobble away on his bike. Hope he crapped his pants because I was not very happy with him. But it could have been a lot worse for him. Anyways, I Hope to learn a lot here and make some forum friends.

SPARTAN, CONGRATS on the ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wive's, husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

I like the eye candy above, and I don't mean any of the Camaros.
Thanks guys and nice to meet you Mike, any other guys or gals from North Dakota here? I'm pretty sure the guy was either on drugs or drunk, because he literally just cut right into my car. I now have a hatred for anyone I see on a bike. I'm not sure if that will pass. lol I'll have to keep a lookout for your Camaro next time I'm in the area. My GF lives in Moorhead, so I'm in the area for weekends every couple weeks. Chances of running into are slim to none, but if you see a bright red Camaro waving at you, that's me lol. Last weekend I did see a really nice Camaro there decked out like Bumble Bee with a personalized plate along the lines of that, yellow, autobot emblems, wide black racing stripes, and a high spoiler; have run across that one yet?

Thanks! Yes they are, it was difficult letting her go. I also had to say goodbye to my '83 Grand Prix. Though that one is staying in the family, so it wasn't too hard letting go. Even if it was my first car.
Pretty much used the money for my GP to pay off my computer. lol
