I didn't think of it as carpooling, but that works too...I guess that means you can ride in the HOV lanes as well...

Ok, back on topic...

I finally got back to the shop today, and man... did I do some shopping while I was on the rig....

I've got a couple of pictures to show here that were somewhat deceptive from the advertised pics and reality....

The first one is what I bought, and the next one or two are what I got....

These things are absolutely massive....

Something else I noticed was quite large is the pilot shaft of the new trans.

This is 9310 material and being this much larger speaks volumes...Sorry, I used a handy object for reference as to size...

The first image is the old pilot shaft portion of the factory TR6060...about the same thickness as the lighter...

The second image which shows the pilot shaft to be almost twice as big in diameter is the new trans.

Here is a rough in pic of the AMS 1000 Boost Controller.

Obviously the console isn't back in the car...We are holding off on that until the trans is in...

Joe, Racer778, is working with Lupe to relocate the shifter opening... I can't wait to see what he comes up with...Joe has some mad skills...

relocating the shifter opening? Where are you putting it? Or rather, where is Joe putting it?

The pivot point of the new shifter is 3.5 inches further back so the center console will have to be adjusted backwards.... for a visual reference, the pivot point will be about where the leading edge of the forward cup holder is right now...

On a side note, do you know what happened to my Avatar...

I'm posting this for two reasons, so I don't lose it, and just because I can..

This is the SFI certification sticker on my bell housing...If you look real close it's also engraved in the bell housing right under the sticker so it can't be transferred....
