changing the led color of ambient lighting.

I know we dont know a lot about this yet, but im hoping that there is someone out there that knows a little something about LEDs.

Would you assume that this would be all you need to change the color?

or is it something way more complicated??? I am really considering changing mine to pink

first of all do ittttttttt.
second...depending on whether or not its just colored plastic with white LED's shining through or its clear plastic with the colored LED shining through that will tell you whether or not it can be done easily.. if its the colored LED.. all it is is a quick swap.. if it's colored plastic.. than you need to change the color of the plastic which would be a pain lol

yea that was my guess it's just since the interior orange package was just colored plastic it was misleading. i know i know. they were fake just to show it because they put it in there real quick and all but still a little confusing. we have contradicting pictures.

COLORED PLASTIC:

CLEAR PLASTIC:

at least i think thats the little LED light tube in the second pic. i may be wrong. complicated pic lol.

LED can be done.....

but there is a lot to it. Here a few ways the corvette guys have done it.

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...t=led+interior

This next one is not actually this bright, just seems that way with out the flash on.

Also is it true the Red interior package is going away? So only orange and yellow??:(

I'm thinking you could just remove the plastic and paint the backside pink and reinstall. The ice blue light should look pink then when its on.

No i think that would look really trashy. when you mix pink and blue what do you get??

I just want to change the LEDs of the ambient lighting from blue to pink. If that is not possible then im not worried about it.
