P0452

Hi. I am a LS newbie, but an old school hot rod guy. I recently bought an 2010 L99 and it is giving me service stabilitrack. The code I got was P0452. It runs fine.

It has headers, no cats, CAI but otherwise appears stock. Is this code specific to a particular part, or a generic code for the EVAP system???

Thanks

What are the Possible Causes of the P0452 Code? A P0452 code is most likely caused by a gas cap left loose, which results in a loss of vacuum. Aside from that, here are the other possible triggers of the code: Plugged line

Check your gas cap, make sure it is sealing well, maybe get a new one. I had to several years ago. Also check all the evap lines to your purge selenoid and the driver side of the intake manifold as well as the lines going back to the canister. Hope this helps. Good luck.

This is a code for the fuel tank pressure sensor, The ECM is seeing low voltage. You need a scan tool for the diagnostics, KOEO with the gas cap off you need to see 1.3-1.7V. If the problem is present you should see .15V or lower on the scan tool, The fuel tank pressure sensor is on top of the fuel tank, So this will require a bit of work to check the circuit and sensor. You may want to bring it to a shop. GL

Thanks

I'll start with the gas cap. Thanks for the info to narrow it down. I'll put a little air to the lines to make sure they are clear as well.
