Oil temperature?
Is it normal for the oil temp to be slightly higher after cam swap?

Can be...depends on how much of a change in temp you are talking about.
Remember oil temp is going to change a lot depends on use of the car. Also the more HP the car makes, generally the more heat it creates so water and oil temps both generally increase. What are you seeing for an increase? |

wouldnt worry about it until it hits 250, which you are close to. put in a 160 degree thermostat. added performance too

On the endurance cars like our GrandAm GT or ALMS GT2 car if we could see on track oil temps of 230-250 degree's that car will go 24 hrs on track no problem at all. Limited time above 270-290 is ok, given the car still has good oil pressure but the oils most certainly start to break down at that point. Of course I am talking about quality synthetic oils, not the standard dino stuff.

EDIT: Some of us have a "stack" of stuff up front already and don't need/want anything else up there dumping heat into the other systems....
