New Vehicle Customer Opinion Survey??
Since purchasing my Z @ the end of July I've received 3 new vehicle customer opinion survey's :( in the mail - none of which appear to be from Chevrolet, all from 3rd party companies. Of course I'm shredding them, but was curious what's going on here and passing along group responses/concerns to our members.
My questions: 1) How did they get my purchase information? (Does GM/Chevy provide this?) 2) What do they want my personal information for? (Marketing, etc.) 3) Why would anyone ever consider responding to them? |

Third party is who gives it to Chevrolet.
Yes I would respond, it is what the company uses to go by. I have not got any yet, but I would not give any personal info, Chevy has that. |

The thing is there is nothing on these companies survey that indicates these are official Chevrolet surveys....so I was hesitant to respond. I would feel better responding if I knew it was something Chevy requested/needed, like for warranty, etc.

I was told I would get a survey. But was not told from who.
If they want more info than just name salesman and dealer, just do not give it. There are surveys out there that is used for more than just getting info to sell you something. |
