No big deal to hibernate your car here in Calgary. I've lived here all my life and I'm quite used to it. There is a lot of bonding time available! I've always had a Camaro in the garage and the ZL1 is my tenth. When I go in there to hang out my wife always says.... Off to go visit your mistress are ya! I turn with a smile and reply he'll ya! Happy holidays to all!
Keep this mistress for the long winter months , she will pay back by spring , and you will find out that she does not talk back either .

What was the final purchase price for a Canadian ZL1?
Msrp is 65,725 plus fees and taxes. So just under 70,000.

Enjoy, and see you on the streets!

From order acceptance it was just under three months. However inquiry was Sept of 2011 and deposit was placed in March 2012. Order accepted Oct 5 and build completion was Nov 30. Then shipping and arrival at destination was Dec 19,2012.

Have no idea how to post pics yet. But Summit white, sunroof, polished wheels, stripe package and tinting the windows as I speak. Oh ya also Auto and Nav. Had manuals previously and wanted to try a new deal. My driving time will mostly be on the Rocky Mountain highways. Just twisters and beautiful scenery.

I'm glad to here you found a dealer that didn't add their greed tax.
To bad you didn't get a chance to enjoy it this past summer....There is much to enjoy!

They had a black 2013 zl1 on the showroom floor marked up to 68000 dollars.

Yes but I did still enjoy my 2ss rs. Still had fun with that car! I haven't heard of dealers charging over MSRP up here. The dealership I buy from is probably the highest volume dealer in Calgary and their 2013 allocation was one vert and one coupe. That's it! Not all dealers are even getting one. Crazy to be happy paying MSRP but I was!
