Bluetooth streaming to PDIM from my DROID

Bluetooth streaming to PDIM from my DROID

I was able to pair up my DROID and the Camaro, however I cannot find where on the dash to stream music from the DROID. I can make a phone call from DROID, I can receive hands free calls on it, but streaming... Where is this located at on the dash at?

In my other car, I have an FM receiver on the DROID to play through the radio. This is extremely crappy though... Would love to see what bluetooth streaming is like in the Cam.

Anyone able to get this going with their smartphone?

Ok.. not sure I can explain it correctly... BUT here goes...

Your phone part and the media player require separate pairing... IIRC, set your stereo to AUX input then hit the stereo's menu button... i believe there is a Bluetooth menu in there... you can then pair up your droid there. I stream Pandora through my Droid... very cool!

I have my LG Envy3 paired for hands free calling- cool. Then, I decided to try and pair the phone to the radio for streaming music. It worked- didn't sound no where near as good as the ipod (Not sure why), and I couldn't make/receive calls because the phone was paired to the radio. No thanks, I'll use the ipod and pair phone for hands free calling.
