Cam only car.. what will make close to 500 rwhp?

I currently have (uninstalled) JBA 7/8 headers, 3" pipes with dynomax mufflers and a LMR intake*Installed... cam, clutch and maybe spray later will be my only mods to the car ever

and does anyone besides me love the sound of the cars with just the muffler delete any way to retain the sound with resonator, hi flow cats or anything of the sort? love the popping and tone

Only a handful get close to 500rwhp cam only. The one that seems to be consistently close is the G6X3. It is also friendly to the spray.

We extensively dyno test and develop all of our camshafts. I've also dyno tested most of the major competitors camshafts. Marketing 500rwhp cam only is a pretty big number. Remember bigger and bigger cams can kill more and more piston to valve clearance! Lots of people push big cams with terrible p/v which can be very risky.

I'm confident enough that the supposed 500rwhp cams wont get there that I'd do the install for free if it did it on my dyno!

I have a engine dyno with a ls3 ready to go on it, maybe we need to do a big camaro5. Cam dyno test and p/v test for as many camaro5 guys can get here!!

i would recomend going with a mild cam nothing too big and a set of ported heads along with the bolt ons you have and also add a ported throttle body that should get you damn close to the 500 rwhp mark

As you can see I have quite a few parts from LG, I also don't care too much about the dyno number, however i am all about real world performance. I will be going to the dyno just to show the before and after on my installs here shortly and will update you. I will tell you that the cam install really made my engine come alive.

Keep in mind I couldn't afford the LG heads at the time with everything else i was doing, and I believe this will be the key to breaking 500rwhp. Regardless LG customer service has been second to none and I highly recommend them.

G6x3 is the only real consistant cam that always seems to make big numbers. I love mine!
