Camaro Walk-Around Competition - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Parkway Chevrolet’s own Dave Ramsey won this year’s Camaro Walk-Around competition. Dave beat out colleagues in other Houston-area dealerships in an event to determine who in 7 minutes or less could best inform a customer on different aspects of the 2010 Camaro. The judges graded the participants on not only the Camaro’s features, but also how they could benefit the customer. The features included performance, ride, handling, comparison to competitive models, safety, reliability and durability, and comfort and convenience. Dave was also judged on his overall presentation.

1st place paid $5000.00 while 2nd and 3rd got $3000 & $2000 respectively
Makes for a good down payment on a new Camaro

WOW, VERY COOL INDEED!!!...

If I lived there, I bet I could have beat almost ANYBODY in the competition...just ask any of my family, friends, and strangers....lol...
I am a "walking and talking Camaro commercial".....I can quote any statistic, any question about any aspect of the car and I owe all my knowledge to my forum "family"...

I feel as if I have been to "Camaro school" by joining this forum and learning more than I ever thought I could possibly learn about this car...

just wait till he gets to the price part. He has that one MINOR detail all wrong. When I was last in there they wanted 10K over for an SS and 7500K over for the V6

what does him winnig 5k have to do with clunker money? looks to me the owner of the dealership put on a contest for the employees.

whether he owns all the dealerships in the area or the owners of the dealerships went in on it together. havent you ever worked somewhere that the owners did things like this to amp up there sales staff?

Did you ever hear about the guy who was coming out of the casino and a worried-looking man comes up to him and says "Mister, you got to help me. My wife is terribly sick and needs an operation. The doctor says if I can scrape together $5000 he will do the surgery. Anything that you could do would help."
