Jeez why so defensive? The question was asked why some people were getting rid of their Camaros and he gave his personal answer.

Coming from a mustang standpoint, the same thing happened when the 06s came out. The 06 fixed a lot of things that people didn't like about the 05s. There are also a lot of people getting rid of their Mustangs now because of the economy. Many people buy this type of car as a "toy" or something that they don't necessarily need. It is therefore the first thing to go when times get tough. I know that if I lost my job, my car would be the first thing to go. Or maybe my wife.... I guess I'd have to give it some thought.

The economy isn't any better or any worse than last year. So I don't really see why that plays into it other than the fact that last year I think a lot of people were in denial about how bad the economy really was.

Good point. Same guys on here that said once they get the car they were going to do this and that and had all these plans. Now they sit there and reply to classifieds saying "only if i had the cash." Goes deeper than the camaro, its want want want society regardless of the consequences. We dont just do it with the camaro, its houses that people bought that they couldnt afford, etc etc. I really hope this economy teaches a lot of people a lesson, and the lesson is you cant have everything you want unless you earned not because you THINK you can borrow it.

I'm not defensive at all... I'm quite happy with my car. If they don't want it, then better for me. There will be fewer of them on the road and I wont look like everyone else out there. On the other hand they can look just like everyone else with their ricer cars or plain boring cars.

I would never even think of selling mine, true Camaro lovers will never let these awesome Camaro's go, when the Z-28 comes out I would trade mine for the Z-28, but I would never be without a 5th Gen, these Camaros are the best looking Camaro's ever made.

Ok that's just crazy talk... I still think the Gen 1's are better looking. Hehe. But these are the best looking current cars on the market period.

Definitely not crazy talk, I have owned many Camaro's all different years and I would take my 2010 over any Gen 1 Camaro, like I said in my post, I think the 2010 is the best looking Camaro ever made.
