Vert Subwoofer question
I'm wondering if anyone with a vert has replaced the factory BA subwoofer with another "free air" subwoofer and amp? If so what subwoofer did you go with? How does it compair to stock and a typical single 12" subwoofer in a trunk enclosure?
I'm trying to decide if I want to go with a free air or something enclosed in the trunk. I don't need a massive amount of car shaking bass I just would like to be able to hear it/ feel it more than the BA system. |

Bought a JL 700/5 amp and a 10 alpine sub + fark harness. Enclosed my stock enclosure with fiberglass 4 layers and dynamat the rear seat and truck. Sounds pretty good and happy how it works. Increase the amp size if you want major thumping bass.
