TVS 2300 / Supercharger CAM Results and thoughts

Since my other thread jumps around, let me post up the results with different pulley sizes in one post.

Modifications: TVS 2300, Blower Cam (ADM Spec'd), ADM Intake (street version), ARH Catted header system with stock axelback (this will go for a full 3 inch magnaflow axelback soon), Tuned by ADM.

Below is the stock 3.8 pulley. This is what I went with since this is my daily driver. The tune is very conservative and this is what I will run for a while.

Below is the comparision between the 3.6 and 3.4 pullys: With the 3.4 pulley we had belt slip up top or we would have made well over 600rwhp .. look at the TQ curve for both of these ... really nice I'd like to maybe try the 3.6 eventually since we had no slip with that ... but again .. for my daily driver we want safe

Below is the 3.4 with belt slip (see post above ). This is compared to my stock dyno and my dyno with the ARH catted system and tune.

ADM still has the car as he is fitting me with his new Boost gauge so I haven't gotten a chance to drive it yet. Once I do, you will have more pics, vids and my thoughts. Go here for pics of the gauge and location: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38289

Thanks,
Crowley

It is recomended at the boost range to have a larger ribbed pulley. They are coming out with them very soon if they aren't already out

10 rib is required...hence ZR-1 runs over 10psi with a 2300

Also very high octane is required with stock compression
Ls3 when 10 psi and above.

Thanks for coming in Andy .... Since this is my Daily Driver, I won't be running very high octane ... maybe at the track someday with the boost turned up some

Can you define Very High octane?

93? 100?

Crowley,

If you wouldn't mind, not sure if you posted this anywhere else, PMing me the price tag for the parts on your build... If not I completely understand.

With you living in McKinney just hit 75 and go north to Exit 51 and poof 100 octane race gas in a pump at the Exxon on the NE Corner of the service rd and whatever exit 51 is.

Spent many a day making that drive for my ADM built toy....

ADD THE OCTANE and UP THE BOOST!

KUDOS to you and Andy both!

Pure artwork as always Andy!

We use 100 octane fuel for safety.

I personally think 550-580 is a bit high for stock internals.Back in 2001-2004 we built Twin Turbo Stage 2(Forged bottom end ls1) LPE Corvettes and we were happy with 550-580 rwhp, it was rated at 650 flywheel.

Just curious what your cam specs are. Or, are they "secret"? If you open that exhaust, you might not need to go to a wider belt. Im making 8.5 psi on my LS3 2300 with 2.9" pulley and stock width belt. No slip.

I left the 3.8 belt on when I changed pulley.Looked like enough load....but was not.

I recommend 10+ ribs for more than 10 psi,8.5 should be fine.

We run a real tight lobe seperation.
