Excessive road noise

The amount of road noise (tire / road sound) that I get in my 2ss Camaro is excessive and very annoying. Has anyone done anything to there car to reduce this noise?

Thanks,
Bill

I switched to Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires. Less noisy than the stockers, but a little less grip.

Probably a bad tire. We don't have road noise.

All roads or just certain roads? I notice more road noise on certain highways.

Yeah it's noisier than a normal car should be but P-Zero's are a loud tire. I just listen to loud music otherwise it could get pretty annoying. One thing you can try however is sound deadening material in the trunk an under the carpet, don't know how much it would cost though.

I would actually disagree on the road noise...
I use our 2SS as my highway flyer... Chose it over several other cars because of the fact it was quiet & comfortable over the road.. it is no big body Lexus by any means... But it holds it's own over several others.. Going 70-75 down the highway... You can have radio off & still hold a normal conversation with a passenger... When it's time to replace tires... I don't think I will use the same tire... But I have owned ALOT of cars & the 2SS has good manners on the road...
(& I am VERY picky about this subject as I do travel alot for work)
