Halo's on an SS swap
I have an SS and wanted RS Halo's. Has anyone done this and know how hard the swap is or is it just plug and play?
Thanks! |

Nope. You have about $1600 worth of parts. You require an entire new light assembly. I looked into it but for that much I can do so much more to the car.

There is a C5 member who put halo's on his car. I don't remember the name of the guy, but they looked really nice.
Here is a link to the manufacturer: http://www.automotivelightstore.com/...letcamaro.aspx Here is a link to the one I was thinking about. Standard headlights with AAC Halos. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...light=AAC+Halo

I'm getting a non-RS 2SS because I like the retro style look of the halogens over the Halos. However, I do want HID lights so I'm going with AAC. I'll be doing all of this except for the Halos.

I looked into the RS lights as well, cost is super high....but AAC is the way to go if thats the direction you want to go.

I have a brand new kit for HID conversion with high/low beam in 8000k and is a excellent kit as it is direct plug and play. I looked at both aacstyle and bfxenon as they are the best kits available. I ended up doing the factory RS conversion on my 2ss and it is very expensive and wish I had gone other route but too late. This kit is unopened brand new and I can help someone out who is wanting an HID kit. PM me if your interested or look in the for sale on here.
