I will pick-up the shirts Friday, June 8th and then get them to you on the 16th.

If you want them prior to the 16th, send me a PM and I will try to meet up with you.

Just keeping this on the current page and the details consolidated to-date:

June 16, 2012

Edmonton Camaros will be meeting at the IKEA parking lot in Edmonton South Common at 8:00AM, leaving Edmonton 8:30AM.

Calgary Camaros will be meeting at the Deerfoot Mall, the Sears Parking Lot at 8:00AM, leaving Calgary at 8:30AM.

Meet in Red Deer at the Costco/Staples parking lot - 162, 37400 Hwy 2 - 10:00AM - 10:30AM. Leave Red Deer at 11:00AM. Rocky Mountain House is about an hour away and we have BP's in Rocky Mountain House booked for lunch and they are giving us a 10% discount. Sask. Crossing is about 190km from Rocky Mountain House. Some are heading north to Jasper, 155km and some of us are headed south to Banff, 135km, possibly taking 1A into Banff. (Some of you have mentioned that 1A is a more scenic route and there are a number of places we can stop for pictures along the way.)

For those headed to Banff:

Douglas Fir Resort & Chalets is offering us a preferred group rates for travel on the night of June 16th, 2012. Rooms are based on availability and no room block has been established, so book early. Douglas Fir Resort & Chalets has a huge indoor playzone and brand new indoor Waterslides, plus, all rooms have a full kitchen.

Children 16 years and under stay free when sharing with an adult. Above rates are per night rate and based on 2 adults in a room. Extra adults are $20 per person per night. Rates do not include applicable taxes.

In addition to the discounted rooms above, Two and Three Bedroom A Frame Chalets are available! Rates for the Chalets start at $238.50 a night, plus applicable taxes.

The cancellation policy is 48 hours – any cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival will be charged a fee of 1 night room and tax.

Here is the special Promotional Code (ABCC12) use online at www.douglasfir.com and go to the “Book A Room” tab or guests may reach the resort direct toll free at 1-800-661-9267 and quote ABCC12 or advise they are with “Alberta Camaro Cruise” group.

Douglas Fir Resort & Chalets will also offer the same preferred discount for a few nights before and after should anyone wish to extend their stay. Here is the link www.douglasfir.com

For those headed to Jasper:

We have contacted the Jasper Mount Robson Inn. They are willing to give us 15% off rack rate for any who books before May 15 for a room on Saturday June 16th. They do take one night’s stay as a deposit but have a full refund if canceled 48 hours before the stay. To get the $149 rate when you book make sure you let them know your with the Camaro5 group, this will also help them put our rooms close together and hopefully avoid any noise complaints. Here is the link http://www.mountrobsoninn.com/

Sunday - June 17, 2012 - Father's Day!

We have booked breakfast for Sunday, June 17th, 10:30am at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center, Canmore, AB. They will set-up a private room for us at no charge, we will get their buffet at $21.95 or menu, your choice. The room holds about 25 people, plus they can accommodate more if we need.

The hotel is located at 511 Bow Valley Trail, Canmore, AB.

Please confirm your attendance so we can keep an active head count.

All Camaros are welcome! Bring your Cameras! Let me know if I’ve missed something.
