1LE

According to the sales brochure, http://www.mediafire.com/view/?cin9wc9jiowe713

there will be a 1LE for 2014!

No Victory Red for 2014.

Z/28 won't be available until spring 2014.

Welcome,
7:00pm to 8:00pm the second Thursday of every month at different restaurants in the Tucson area, with plenty of Parking, no fees or dues. This is a good way to talk and share information, and make plans.

There's a Yuma faction of the Arizona All Gens Camaro Club. They can be found at the site below (bottom of the page).

Welcome to the area!

All this talk about the Z/28, etc. Need to actually go to the track (road course, not straight line) to appreciate one. I would start slow and use what you have. I have a ball with mine and of course it led to more mods. And more track days. I've only seen Bodih at Inde Motorsports but that was as a spectator. Greatly appreciate that, but I would love to see more cars on the track. A stock SS will beat up on a base Mustang all day long on a fast track. With a few mods, its real fun to be faster than a lot of cars that cost a lot more...

Hmmmm. After looking at the refreshed Camaro, I kinda dig the taillights. I wouldn't have wrapped them around the rear quarter. I would have preferred that they stop just beyond the decklid but it's not bad.

Like the hood, excellent. Front end, eh, looks alright. I feel indifferent, really.

Now, those Z-28 wheels. Yeesh. I think they're dreadful but that's just me.

Back in the day, most cars had some thing changing every year. Taillights, grills, etc. Today's cars go five years and sometimes with such small changes you have to really look hard to see the difference.

Most of the time it's in the interior.

But I like the taillights. I also like the taillights on mine.

As far as the Z-28, glad to see the moniker come back. But those wheels... Fortunately there's an aftermarket.

I agree with gotroost. Mod the one you have. That way you can build your car the way you see fit.

19 X 11.0 Wheels with 305's on the front = driving a steamroller!

Maybe they thought spreading out all that soft rubber would make it last longer...

Part of the reason it beat the ZL1 by 3 seconds. Plus great tires!

Gotroost motivated me to call Bondurant today. I'm checking on dates for sometime in May to do a Group Event. We need 8 to 10 drivers and we would plan to use the Bondurant Camaro's which come in stick or automatic. The cost is approximately $99 / event / person (seriously, it's $99). The three events that were highly recommended are:
  • Skid Control
  • Team Slalom
  • Lead & Follow
We can pick any event and the total number of events. Checkout their website at:

http://www.bondurant.com/courses/per...ing-experience.

If interested, please let me know, it would be a blast to plan a mini-track day.
