Thank you for the videos! I was paranoid about doing the swap myself after reading how some of the posters had an uneven bumper post-installation. But after my dealer quoted me $200+ for labor, I decided to do it myself!

With my iPad in the garage and your videos, I was able to do it by myself within a couple of hours. I used the ZL1 grille from Patrick @ gmpartshouse.

I didn't jack up the car and remove the wheels, but if you turn the wheels all the way to the opposite side you are working on (working on drivers side = turn the wheels all the way to the right), its pretty easy with the right tools (socket extension, socket driver, etc).

The only thing I forgot was to put the "teeth" back on, but the grille was set pretty snug. It's not going anywhere!

I found the easiest way to change the grille was to wait for the GF to back into and make the body shop install it when they replaced the whole nose. Only flaw in that plan was she is on my insurance.... oh well at least its in.

To get the hard bolts in the upper fender I used a cordless impact with a 1/2 to 3/8 adapter, 6 inch extension, a 3/8 universal joint, and shallow 6 pt. Socket. Only took a couple seconds to remove each sides bolts. Hope this helps someone.

Thank You

I can't thank you enough for the great install video. It took a little over 2 1/2 hours and was a breeze.

So i am not able to get the bumper to line up properly on the sides..it's really noticeable at the driver side turn signal. Will it line up as I start screwing everything back in or is this wrong? Any suggestions?
