I believe the hood liner would not fit at least around the vent, not sure though....

I have sent out one template for a guy. They really are EASY to make we can walk you through it when you have the vent in hand.

Its not complicated. Just take your time and you will be fine. I actually did it twice cause I didn't like the 1st one.

1. Get Sharpie and a razor knife w/ sharp Blade
2. Get cardboard bigger than the extractor.
3. Place the extractor upside down on the cardboard.
4. Starting with the Backside (side that will be closest to the windshield) press it flat against the cardboard and trace the extractor.
5. As you start tracing the extractor towards the front let the extractor roll flat on the part you are tracing. ** the extractor has a curve to it... the cardboard does not**
6. After you are happy you got a good tracing of the exact size of the extractor, cut it out of the cardboard.
7. Then I measured About 2cm all the way around and made marks and played connect the dots.... EXCEPT for the back side That measurement is 1.5 inches.
8. Then cut the Inside out of the template. I will add pics so hopefully this is not confusing....

** Top (closest to windsheild) outside to outside measurement was about 12- 3/4 inches
**Bottom (closest to front fascia) outside to outside measurement was about 11 inches

I am still trying to think of some way to make the hood liner look better....what do you think about the ACS Composit hood liner below??

Also, I am pretty sure I have how to make the template down pat, but I am a little confused about the deflector shield still? If you use the OEM deflector shield, are you still using the aluminum braces or will the deflector itself hold the scoop down?

Has anyone tried using the OEM bolts that come with the 14' SS?

You need the aluminum pieces, they are the easiest thing to make. Plus I take my rain deflector off on nice days.

The bolts that come with the extractor are too short. The 14 SS hood is made with cross supports and the water deflector is held up with 6 pushy things. I used toilet bolts, the square head slips right into the same spot as the oem bolts, but the are longer. I also put aluminum along the sides of the extractor , underside of the hood. I haven't had time to take pics.
