2" primaries vs 1 7/8's for blower setup?

I currently have the kooks LT's with their High flow cats and i just bought yesterday the Corsa ZL1 exhaust 3" cat back. Do i honestly need the 2" primaries?

I think you might need 7-800rwhp to see any gains from them.

I made 1090 on 1 7/8. No need unless going for 1100+ IMO

If I was buying I would buy 2 for your setup, since you already have headers I wouldn't think it would be worth swaping unless money is no object.

1 7/8" will support more than that blower can ever make. If buying new with a blower, do like HE said and get some 2s, but 1 7/8 are not going to hold you back at all.

Sounds good brotha. Just was pondering the idea of upgrading. Hopefully this well help answer some of the other forum members questions as well.

We tested this theory, at 860 RWHP we switched from 1 7/8 to 2 inch and picked up 22 RWHP, same day same dyno same conditions.

2012 Camaro JRE 416 Vortech YSI.

Hope this helps.

Ted.

i am good with 1 7/8 long tubes on my setup, considered going to 2 inch long tubes but didn't seem worth the cost, would rather use the money to put toward some ported heads to help the engine breathe better, it all comes down to how much power you want to make.
