Super chiller out of a DC freezer or real cold air induction..

DC freezers have came down, one that can cool from -8 to 50 degrees in 3 cubic feet weights only 45lbs. runs on 12v or 24v..

Was wondering can you just submerge the evaporator coils in water to cool the water in your reservoir like your making ice?

Or would it be better to have it setup to blow cold air into your air filter box?

Just brain storming.

weather the RX or original invented chiller works I don't want to make those types of mods to my car.

Also there are 12 and 24 DC AC compressors for automotive that can be used to do this. Look up the Prius, Leaf, Volt, etc. on Rock Auto to see prices. I think your idea would work!!

Most of those use the high voltage circuit off the hybrid system to run those a/c compressors.
