You're welcome. For what it's worth, I was a GM dealership body and paint tech for most of five years in a previous life, and I negotiated a really fair sum on a goodwill voucher from GM when my 2010 Camaro had a severe paint issue. They will take care of you but you need to play the game and be cautious how you word things, sadly. Keep the faith and remember you didn't do anything wrong and this is not what you paid for.

I actually purchased a 3rd party wheel and tire warranty package for $400 when I purchased the car, so if GM don't warrant it, I always have that as a backup, which covers everything but issues caused by the operator. I figured I'd try GM first as I'm having a bunch of Warrenty work done anyway.
