Just wondering if this not even an option over there. Maybe rediculous high fines. Or worse. I would think that some of you guys would rather not put one on and just deal with the outcome later, but from the looks of it, no one has done that in the photos.
Yes indeed, evrey one needs one
You can try without one...but at the next traffic light you would be stopped...and the fines are okay...but if they catch you several times they get bigger and you can even lose your license.....

I am currently stationed in Houston Texas but most likely will be relocating to Holland at the end of this year and hope to bring my 2010 Camaro as a daily driver.

Since the 2010 Camaro is not being officially imported yet in Germany, I assume the models you are driving are mostly the US specification cars right (and not Canadian spec)?

Can any of you chime in on the modifications necessary for EU roads?

I know we are missing side mounted turn indicators but I believe there is somebody that makes wires to utilize the side markers as turn indicators.

I am mostly worried about the lack of in-car height adjustability for the headlights.

I also know that HID lights at least in Holland are also supposed to have fully automatic height adjustment and washer installations...

Any advice from Germany is greatly appreciated!

Also noticed 2 things in the videos and photos...
1 - 1 of the camera cars had modified side mirrors
2 - 1 of the cars has parking beepers on the front bumpers
Would like to know more about this too.
Correct, ALL cars are imported...and are either us specs or candian or mexican!

As for you: you have your camaro how long? There is a law (at least in Germany and here in Switzerland) where we can keep the US Version (lights etc.)! So no changes needed.

In germany it says: if the car is registered more than 6 months on you in the staates, you don't need to do anything

As for lights:
The washer thing is not a biggie...we have some machnics who just implement it and lets go. Height adjustment is neither needed, there is a piece of paper, and you are free of it

The mirrors are self made, adapted from the concept car, could go into production if there is any interest

and the beepers, there is a company called bosch, you can get anythign you want from there...install the sensors, paint the front, and you cant even see them and they work perfectly

the wheels are painted twice, first black, than the orange stripes;
for a black car with IOM interieur the best color-combination for the rims in my opinion
yes its hard to keep them clean cause of the break dust; so I am going to change the breaks with carbon pads soon

here is a closer look:

I just noticed this Thread and there where some Questions.

Yes we MUST have License plate on front and back, you can not drive 5 min. without, then you will have the Police on your back.

Changes to the Camaro is mostly just the lightning, here the blinkers have to be yellow blinking, fog lights...

Most of the Camros if not all are important our bought from a company that have imported the Camaro. Here Nov. the Cmaro is also lounged here but I think only 1000 Cmaro is released here. My Camaro SS/RS I bought in New Jersey.
