A close look at the LG Motorsports Super Pro Camaro Exhaust

Hi guys,

The Corvette guys all know me, LG Motorsports, and the layout of our Corvette systems so I thought I would spend some time to high light the choices and features of our LG Super Pro Headers for the Gen 5 Camaro.

Ease of Install
We learned a long time ago to make the system work, it needs to be easy for the user to install. So like our Corvette systems we made this as simple of a bolt on as you can get. All of our kits come complete from engine to mufflers or with mufflers and tips included so all you have to do is bolt it onto the car. Fittings slip together for the smoothest connection between pipes. This also makes our cats replaceable in the event of damage or you want to swap to an off-road setup for track use. The only cutting you would have to do, would be removing the stock mufflers if you want to use them with our kit as GM welded the OE system together complete from the manifolds back.

Configurations and Options
We offer our system in one of six different setups.
1. Headers only with delete pipes and 2.5" adapter
2. Headers with high flow cats and 2.5" adapter
3. Full system with out cats, without mufflers
4. Full system w/cats and without mufflers
5. Full system w/o cats and w/mufflers
6. Full system w/cats and with mufflers
All systems will come with off-road pipes included at no charge even for cat'd systems. All systems come with clamps, hardware, extensions, and now GM gaskets as well.

Features
  • 1 7/8" Primary size
  • 3" merge collector with fire cone
  • Full 3" mid section
  • 3" high flow Siamese X pipe design
  • Connects to OE or OE replacment mufflers with included 2.5" adapter
  • All wires, hardware, extensions and GM gaskets now included
  • High flow optional 200 cell metal matrix catalytic converters
  • Off-road pipes included no charge on cat'd systems
  • 35+ RWHP GAIN!
  • Up to 47 lbs of weight REMOVED!
  • LifeTime Warranty for original owner

All LG Motorsports header kits are covered for the lifetime to the orginial owner against any defect or issue. Of course damage by accident is not covered.

MUFFLERS
Our LG designed mufflers are fully polished stainless steel. These also a full 3" throughout and end with a 4" double walled slash cut tip. Lightweight and combined with a straight through design give you little back pressure with a deep American V8 sound!

Very nice looking kit... i like sound also.
and can testify to LG's supreme fitment.

who makes the mufflers?
sounds like the borls s-type, only louder.

what is the weight savings for the entire kit?
im very interested.

Glad you asked, and just noticed I lost the muffler section so I'll update that for you.

The mufflers are made for us as well.

These are a full 3" throughout and have a 4" double walled slash cut tip. They will fit with the GM ground effects.

Deep tone, close to a Magnaflow in my opinion.

Let me get them on the scales, I know our Corvette systems pull 27lbs off their cars and I would like to say we can get that if not more off the Camaro exhaust.

i was guessing 40 or so.

i have no idea why that would not already be apart of your marketing specs....

i know the muffler are made for you... i was asking who makes them?
unless you are not alowed to tell?

please post the weight savings...
any more sound clips to share?

All the LG Exhaust products are made of 304 Stainless Alloy.

I know Anthony @ LG has them either way because he offers them to his dealers (us and others) that way as well.

So yes, you can get the LT's by themselves in catted or "race" trim.

Best of luck and let me know if we can help you out on any of LG's line.

I just did one if your systems on my car. It's a difference in power you can feel. And the tone is perfect. A little on the quite side compared to what most would expect from a full exhaust v8 car. But I did choose to use cats. No drone At all, and inside the cabin it's as quite as the stock system was with catted mid pipes.

I'll say this...I bought a set of LG Superpros for my vette from Anthony and they fit great and perform amazing. There are two sets of headers I've purchased in my life that I absolutely do not regret...these and the TAPerformance Stainless headers on my 87 GN. GN headers are spaghetti/fitment nightmares...TA rocks. Vettes are so tight to get big exhaust like this routed, the LG's fell in great.

Thats one of the things I like. It's quite at idle, but when you get on it, all hell brakes loose. They growl like a SOB!

I am very happy with my LG Full exhaust, I installed no cats with stock mufflers. Sound is just Great Solid, and at regular speed, you can barely hear a difference. Great item guys, keep it up!!!!
