SO when can I wax?

Just received my 2SS/RS triple black. It was built on 3/25/11( my moms birthday)! When can you wax it? In the owners manual it doesn't say any thing. I know some cars you have to wait a couple months.
Also I have the polished aluminum wheels can you use mothers to polish?
Thanks

You can wax her now. I wouldn't use wax on the wheels though.

You can wax it right now and I'm pretty sure your wheels are clear coated but you might want confirmation on that.

wax vs. metal polish

I waxed the wheels.... I would not use metal polish though.

The wax should protect the clear coating on the wheels, just like it protects the clear coat on the paint. Seems to help keep the brake dust down a bit too. I had a lot of it building up the first week and since I waxed them, the dust is building up, seems just not as fast as before.

According to the owners manual, use only wax or polish approved for clear coat finish on painetd surfaces and painted wheels.

Are you sure? The way my dealer said there polished and won't chip like the painted ones. The way I took it that there was no clear coat on them.
I have never seen a clear coated polish aluminum wheels.

I aways thought it was 2 or 3 months after fresh paint. Maybe that's an old wive's (or should I say hot rodder's) tale??

I recommend 3 coats of klasse paint sealant, followed by 3 coats of carnuba wax. Do it ASAP.

Amazon has it. Yes, by hand. Also, search this website for instructions in the deatailing section. Use very little product and dampen your applicator with detailing spray first. About a dime size application per panel. It will seem like too little at first. But the third week, you will have it down.
