As a previously owner of a S/C Z06 and also driven Camaro with S/C, I say go for ZR1. That car stands against all super cars. Just look at the difference in weight of the two. If you can test drive a ZR1, you will delete this post... :-)

ZL1 and $30k worth of mods.

you can possibly be in the 800-900whp in the ZL1 with that money.

But the ZR1 is badass to.

Get a coin and flip it .

Really you should be the one to decide that not us. Go and test drive
a ZR1 if you have the feeling I'm in heaven then get the used ZR1. Otherwise wait and see what you think once the ZL1's come out and
try and find a dealer that will let you test drive it.

I want to make sure that I get this right, you own a 2010 SS Camaro and you want to know where to spend your 90K, Correct??? Buy a much faster and better handling model of the car you already own or buy a really fast S/C Corvette. Since you are comparing apples to oranges, let me help you some. You keep the 2010 SS and the 30K you would have spent on the ZL1 and with the 30K in mods have an equally fast car to the ZL1. The remaining 60k, you send to me so I can buy my ZL1. After it comes in, I will meet at you on the drag strip at CFIII. The loser of two out three buys dinner. Everyone is happy and the world is at peace once again.

LOL

or I have another option for you. just dump every single penny of that $90k on your current car and basically you can spank almost all cars on the road!

Get a used GTR for like 75,000 or maybe less. and spend the the rest on mods. THEN you will spank every car on the road.

Ok 2CND CHANCE im not bragging about my budget. My ss is sold. And I was just simply trying to get some feedback from guys who have owned or driven a zr1. I live in Southern IL I just can't walk down the street and test drive a ZR1. In fact I haven't even seen one on the road where I live. I don't have time to live on camaro5 and research for hours on end. Just asking opinions from guys who have had experience with the car. Isn't what this website if for??? To gather info from each other. So if your going to make bitter smartass childish comments then don't.

Call me crazy, but I'd walk right by ZR1 (even if I had te $$$) to ZL1. I'd go through my mod' list and call it good while saving a big chunk of money; probably $20K, at least. I'm not going to pretend that I believe ZL1 would handle as good as ZR1 or anything, but that's just how much more I like CAMARO; and I LOVE Corvette.

I wish you good luck. Whatever you do, I hope that you end up with a purchase you don't regret. If you think you're going to have a regret with ZL1, I think you should seriously consider ZR1
