Cup Holder
Good afternoon, folks. Has anyone come up with a good way to add a cup holder? As has been noted by many, with a stick shift you can't really use the cup holders in the console.
Thanks. |

Check out this post. I got one and drop my water bottles back there. Still accessible from the front seat, but doesn't cut into front seat space.
I've also seen a product on a corvette site that attached to the passenger side of the tunnel by sliding it under the center console trim. It looked like it would work on our cars as well, but I never pursued it further. I'll see if I can find the site again. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=246951

Here you go. The site has these for C5 and C6 vettes that look like they would work. I'm going to get some and try them, they have them in ebony, and with single or dual cupholders. I also have friends with vettes that I can sell them to if they don't work though, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Rick's Camaro has these specifically for the Camaro, single and double. Found these last night.

Ordered the double and received it today. Fits well. The black matches the black interior parts very well.
Have not road tested yet, but it should work. Just costs a little room on the passenger side. |

Good to know. The holders in the link I posted for the Corvettes is made by the same company as the one that Rick's Camaro sells. I will probably just get the ones from Ricks, I am also looking at the double. The wife always brings a water bottle when we go riding, plus my drink, so I usually have 2 drinks in the way of my shifter.

Never realized drinks got in the way, but makes total sense.
