67 RS Camaro

Hi my name is Nicole! I'm new to the site and didn't see a new member thread, so Hi! I have a 67 RS 327 vert camaro! I got the car when I was 7 it was going to be a project for my dad and me to work on, but he past away when I was 15, so now it's my project to finish in memory of him. It sat in Washington State for about 4 yrs before I had it shipped down here about 3 yrs ago. For the most part it's in good shape, it needs some body work, rebuild the engine and trany, and it needs some little stuff on the inside. I found out the original color on it is royal plum! This is great because only 2% were painted that color, so I’m very excited to see if it has the origanl engine and trany.

There are lots of reference material on line and at the book stores that you can decode your motor's id numbers. The 327 is a great motor, I had a 68 Camaro with a 327 and it ran like a Bat Out of Hell especially with bolt ons.... Good luck.

I have a few books on my camaro that I go back and forth on because it seems like they have different info in them. The 327 is great! I have two mustangs as well and my camaro takes them everytime

Camaros.org
It has about everything you need to help decode the car.
Camaros.net is also a good site for the first gens.
The plum wasn't a color I liked all that much. I like the blue you have on it, though.
Nice ride.

Thank you! I will have to take a look at those sites. I like the color I have now, but if it's original I will put it back to Royal Plum. Thanks again!
