Do you need to have XM active for all the NAV and other options to work?

Again what I'm referring to is the Bluetooth device name instead of being Chevrolet change it to gen5diy or Camaro (one or the other) lol this is why I asked ofer privately in an email to avoid miscommunication
It was clear to me what you meant.

Do not assume what do I know. Or do you think that someone without knowledge could do what you could not in months.
You can Continue speculating¡

You can't even form a complete coherent sentence in most of your posts. As far as months go I had the programming done in one day. Ofer is taking his time and doing it right (putting the kit together) to make sure his customers get the correct product.

The fact that you don't know the answer to any of those questions (the answers to which would be required to custom program the radio the correct way) just proves you are trying to snow everyone here. You have a factory 13 cal in the radio end of story.

What about me (and a few other) that have a radio already
and my F-RADIO part#23182551 will it work?
I am started to get worried that the programing is only for gen5diy kits and/or specific part numbers.

Well you'd be correct. The programming was commissioned by Ofer for a specific part number running a specific software release and that is what has been tested and validated in vehicle to be included in these comprehensive kits.

I don't speak for Ofer nor would I want to damage the relationship but I can say I won't do volume programming like this for the Camaro for any other company. However if he were to give his blessing, I would be willing to look at doing individual retrofit programming on a case by case basis but again thats up to him.

This is good to know seeing as I am also buying certain components from a local scrap yard. They accidentally picked a non-nav unit so I haven't got my parts yet.

I'm buying everything else needed through GEN5DIY

Hope it work's out for us people who got parts through other means.
