Wow - I wish I would have known about that green high performance filter - admittedly I would have bought that first considering the price.

I'm new to the forum and just bought my first 2012 black on black 1LT Camaro. Obviously its an LFX engine. Is there any news on headers for this bad boy? From what I can tell, they can't be changed. I'll be very sad if I can't change them ever!

No you literally cannot change the intake manifolds to headers on the LFX engine. I wouldn't be upset think of it this way with

Integrated Intake Manifold | Aftermarket Headers

Free (comes with car). | costs $1000
8HP boost from previous. | adds about 10HP so your right where the LFX comes
year | stock
Requires no tune. | may require a tune depending on header

So LFX wins. Use that extra money for a Cold Air Inductions Cold Air Intake, RX Catch Can, a exhaust, and some cosmetic stuff

Awesome already got all that except the exhaust. What's the best exhaust to get to increase gas mileage and not be to loud? Thanks for your response!!!
