ZL1 Recaro Seats - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

For those of you that have not had a chance to see the new Recaro seats in a ZL1, here are a few pictures. I spent a lot of time sitting in these seats and they felt really, really good! They are the same seats standard in the Z28 and optional in the SS. The sticker showed them as a $1,995.00 option on the ZL1. I am hoping that these seats are made available to all 2012 and 2013 ZL1 owners at a discount. They have the suede center section and power adjustments of the standard ZL1 seats and should be a plug and play swap. If there are any 2014 ZL1 buyers that were NOT going to buy the option, send me a PM.

to retro fit the Ss ones in my car wish it was that cheap to do it...

Is that head rest adjustalbe? Does not look like it is. Thats important.

It is not adjustable, but it is plenty tall. My head nearly touches the ceiling of my car, and I don't even have the sunroof. However, these seats were comfortable to me.

They do look good, but wondering at what cost, a 2k option maybe 3-4k to buy out right? Got to see what they cost through someone like partstaxi.....

They are a 3400 option in the ctsv. Look the same so I'm not sure why ZL1 will be any different.

Those are wicked bad and a must have for me. They would round out a perfect looking 2012-2013 ZL1. *cough rear*
Cost may be up there but for me, worth it.
