Kinda of a loaded question as everyone will give their option of what they used.

But for whats it's worth I used Pfadt springs and I track my car and have not had any issues.

Having to de-pin your mag shocks is the biggest pain when doing the lowing springs.

The springs? I believe Apex Motorsports. Not sure who sells them now?

Here's a good tread to read on how to depin your mag shocks.

I have to give a +1 to KaBoom's Pfadt recommendation. I've had them on my car for almost 2 years now.

I bought them from Apex but it looks like Apex has pretty much gone out-of-business.

The springs are now marketed under the aFe name and can be purchased through Phastek.

Hotchkis are also great springs like pfadt, if your looking for more inexpensive options you could go with BMR. but if you want to maintain ride quality with the mag shocks check out hotchkis

Yes. And also make sure the bushings are timed.

My ZL1 is lowered 1.25 with BMR's..I bought the car that way. Looks great but I have a tough time with my driveway. I'm probably going to have factory springs put back in. Z has 9700 miles on it so the springs can't be that old.

Check out Detroit Spring. The springs they offer lower the car about 1". I want to lower my car 3/4 of an inch but I can't find any. They also have other high quality suspension parts for our cars.

They are great springs. I installed mine yesterday and the ride isn't much stiffer than stock but the compression is better.

I'll throw in another recommendation for Pfadt springs. I received them in 1 day from CarID.
