I don't know what you mean by drop in, but there are several man hours in dropping the tank and installing a new one from what I am told...

The labor is a necessary evil when doing a fuel pump upgrade. The drop in part refers to once you get to the old pump the process is a Remove and Replace plug in job. No need to have to try to figure out how to do the install or modify a large portion of the car.

Not looking to do a complete module. Looking to see if an aeromotive 340 or Walbro 400/450 will drop in the bucket with a few modifications like can be done on the GTO's, TBSS's, etc.

It all depends on how much power you plan to make. Call ADM and talk to Andy. You may be able to just get by with a ZL1 pump with a booster that ADM sells all over the country. After that you want dual ZL1's like livernois posted and after that you need dual squash. ADM performance, search and it will come up.

I'd like to stay away from a booster if possible. I used to drop in new pumps in the pump bucket all the time and just upgrade the fuel hose to a large size.

Upto how much RWHP is the stock ZL1 pump good to? I was under the impression that the stock pump is good to ~750 RWHP. If that is the case, this pump would do no-one in this part of the forum any good. In that case a Squash Fuel Pump rated for 1200+ RWHP seems to be the better option. I'm not trying to put you down, I'm just trying to understand.

My stock pump ran out early, high 600's rwhp. I changed to a dual system which ran out close to 800 rwhp. Ended up with a squash system. Wish I knew how far I was going with the car, gets costly doing things twice. My advise, try to figure out how far you want to go before you comit.

We agree, try an stay away from a voltage boost a pump. But there are options our pump will do just about 800 HP. Its really a drop in, there are no modifications its ready to go.

If you want to install a 340 pump in the ZL1 bucket you will run into problems. This is why we have the drop in. You don't have to cut the bucket or pray that the hoses don't come off.

Let us know what you want to do

So is this just like the dual pumps in the CTS-V? Are the two individual pumps the same as the CTS-V just in a bucket that will fit the camaro?

You miss my point. What pumps are used in it? Walbro 255's? Something else?
