Hi everyone, as I may not make the full AB cruise this year, I was thinking of trying for this one. Its a bit of a drive to start in Calgary since I'm in Lloydminster, but I'm thinking it should be worth it. I'll confirm once all the official info is up.

Welcome aboard!!!! We start on the Friday night or afternoon from Czar (south of Wainwright) and spend the night in Calgary close to the meeting point. Glad to have you join us at the hotel for warm up or cool down beverages.
Cheers,
Jim and Myrna

This thread is picking up steam !!! FYI for future thoughts...the Quaaout Lodge just outside of Chase is awesome. Its on Little Shuswap Lake. Rooms are awesome and view is wonderful. Food is great and lots of parking...just sayin!
I just stayed there for a night on my way to a sledding adventure...we were all very impressed. Around $100/nite. Not stirring the pot or anything.....just sayin.

$100/night in the Shuswap? that's way cheap! Unless it doubles in price in the summer like everything else around there!

Just checked in to the lodge to see what was available in case the wifer and I want to expand our time off as it looks real nice, $219 a night lowest price room for our dates in August.
Yikes,
Cheers,
Jim and Myrna

Not surprising for that time of the year on Schuswap Lake. I know I'm not into paying that for a room.
