If GM would honor the power train and b2b warranties, it might be worth it. However, I doubt they would on a flood salvage.

This X 10!!!

I would avoid that thing like it was filled with plague rats or snakes. Not a shot and especially for $19 Grand.

Seriously. Stay away from this one. Not a good buy no matter what. Flood Damage is very serious in the automotive world. You will have problems with it for sure. Stay away... I saw a non flood damaged LS v-6 the other day for 20K (32.5K miles on it) with clean title. There are deals out there. Keep looking for a better car...

A decent deal would be around 24-25 for the above car....without a salvage title of course

with a salvage flood title, I'm not sure I would pay more than a couple thousand....

I'm glad you did not invest in that car. Congrats on your other purchase though!

Stay away from it.

Buy a Camaro with a clean title and let someone else with the money and know-how fix it if something goes wrong.

I see you made a wise choice, grasshopper.

I wouldn't take my money anywhere near it. Aside from the potential/probable issues you WILL run into with it, good luck ever selling it again. There are other fantastic deals out there with clean titles. Just be patient and get the right one. If you're trying to convince yourself that this car is ok, it's probably not.

if you can get it for 10 or less it would be worth it even if you find a few problems. you can find others for around the same price with a bit more miles even an SS but the title will be clean and no worries about electrical problems. MHO
