I was actually going to mention this. The SS badges on the side are also a dead giveaway. This guy wants to make sure that whatever angle you see his car you see the badges.

Which location? Like this on the 67 or under the front fender Camaro Emblem like on the 68 and 69?

It's not like the car is cheap! I truly do not understand what is going through a persons head when applying badges like that.

Why not put an AMG badge on it & make is an AMG-SS Camaro?

Haha I see AMG badges plastered on regular Mercedes car all the time.

What if it s a true SS and he is trying to make it look like a v6 but has not removed the badges yet!
Have a parent who comes into work once in a while in a v6 wanna be v8. he has the front cap, badges, lights. I honestly did not know till he said he liked the sound of my car (v6) I replied thanks but not like yours and then he fessed up that it was only a v6. After he started it I then could tell.
I can see doing the opposite (v8-v6)but not a v6 to v8.

To each his own! I have heard of rental car places renting v6s as v8. maybe he bought the car like this and has no clue! My wife loves the Camaro and can bet my life that if she went out and bought one (a v6) and it had SS badges, she wouldn't have a clue nor would a lot of guys. just maybe the owner is a blond as my wife!

I doubt he went to this much trouble to make a SS look like a V6. And why do it and then put SS emblems on it if you are making a sleeper?

No big surprise a lot of DD put 18 on their car in winter. Need to read more threads especially from Canada.
