I just don't get this storage thing......
You have mentioned this several times, most of us still have our cars still out, this thread is for winter storage, if you want to drive it in the snow, go for it. Mine will be safe and warm under a cover. Many many of us dont drive these in the snow months along with vettes and such....not worth it to me and lots of others

^^ I kept a daily driver ('06 Impala) for the rain and snow and W-mart parking lots. IMO most of the winter is just cold, not ice and snow covered roads. Long term storage is what I'm tallking about.
The threads title is: "She's not ready for hibernation". Sorry if I'm offending you.

Bottom line, I don't have to drive it when it snows out, so I don't.
But there are plenty of days in between when I can, so no hibernation for my Camaro.

Remember last winter around here? I made it through just fine with Pirelli Scorpions (same size as OEM btw, not narrower tires). When many folks see my car, they cannot believe it's been through 2 winters already; and heading into it's third. And I'm not anal about cleaning it as some others are.

As others say, to each their own. I prefer to drive it because I cannot tolerate driving "insignificant" vehicles, and do not want to maintain a third (besides my wife's vehicle). We also don't have kids. That's just me.

I've spent since 1986 driving various f-body cars as daily drivers. My last was a 2000 Z28 M6. I drove that for almost 7 years.

Well I think after the sand and salt yesterday she will be away for a bit. Gas stabilizer, full tank, battery tender & good night.

I had mine out again today. Sunny and dry roads with no salt on the local roads.
This car runs sooo good in the cold weather.....

Gassed up the LS today but brought it home. Couldn't bring it to the West Hartford furniture store. Parking is tight.

No special treatment this year, just starting and running to operating temp around the neighborhood once every 3 to 4 weeks, when the roads are dry. Spring in less than 9 weeks - it's not dark at 4pm anymore.

This winter's plowing fund = MODS! :-)

I had my Camaro out both Wed & Thurs but it might be in the garage for a long time now. Snowed last night and more expected tomorrow- the plows were out plowing/salting all night. I expect wet sloppy roads for many days.
It was fun while it lasted.

Mine's done till the roads clear again, early march sounds good.

We had a long season this year, I would have never guessed I would have been driving it at the end of December.

Time for some winter mods.......

I agree!!! Right now I'm looking at sending the throttle body and intake out to be ported and installing an MTX-L wide band with fesler single gauge pod.

If I get some serious tax money back this year......I might spring for those 3:90 gears I have had my eyes on...

What are you up to paul....I see your intake tube is for sale!

Ken
