MTI Trans mount - some feedback...

Installed MTI polyurathane trans mount 2 weeks ago. Stock rubber mount is very loose and allows for a lot of movement - too much in my opinion - when running higher hp levels. MTI mount is beefier with thick strip of polyurathane. Didn't notice any increase in noise or vibration at idle or part throttle. Did notice some increase in vibration during hard acceleration but nothing that I'd consider to be an issue. I'm also running Prothane motor mounts.

Everyone can improve the trans mount. I was just giving suggestions on other ways to improve.

Hope that helps!

Ok the weather is finally breaking here and I got my car back with one of the items installed being the polyurethane trans mount. I've only got just over 300 miles on it since getting the car back, but the trans mount is great, no more movement of the trans at all unlike with the stock mount. Noise and vibrations are a non issue. Count me as a very satisfied customer, thanks Stephen!

Seems like this would mate up well with semi-solid motor mounts and semi solid rear diff mounts. I'm having the latter installed next week. JRE prepped 3.91 diff. Pfadt has totally solid motor mounts, the only motor mounts I've seen so far. Seems like semi solid might be a little more forgiving. I've seen this description before and it definitely peaked my interest.

Are you still doing the free shipping on this? I was on he site and it wants $16.20 for ground shipping. If you still are doing the free shipping I will be in for one.
