BTW, my son was thinking, if the night sky is clear, we may pop over to one of the Jasper Dark Sky Preserve observation sites. Has anyone gone? They have a few group observation sites as well.

Will be there rain or shine though it's looking more like rain. As long as the white stuff stays away it'll be ok otherwise it may get interesting.

She begged me to go for a drive yesterday in the rain to prepare. In other words I've officially given up on keeping her clean.

Going to pick up my park pass today. Can't wait!

Hey guys and gals, Don here from Edwards Garage in Rocky..Super excited to have you stop in for a quick car show and lunch..we will be serving beef on a bun, and drinks (no not that kind lol)..I have access to our service drive-thru just in case it rains ..I am going to clear the front of our lot to show off your fine rides ..there will probably be a few local cars as well. I think I will pass out tickets to each person for the lunch, and then we will tear them in half and put names in a hat for some door prizes..so please park in the front of the lot when you arrive, then come to the service drive thru for lunch..any questions???

Not having done this before...If we leave from Edmonton with a full tank, does that get one to Jasper without refilling anywhere?

A few more sleeps...can't wait! Anyone know of a place to buy the daily park pass in advance? Called AMA, they only sell the annual one to members.

Just to be safe we usually fill up in Rocky to avoid the Saskatchewan Crossing Robbery Station.
